White Alabaster Celeriac has very large roots that have a defined celery flavour. This vegetable is commonly used in soups and stews. The stems and leaves can also be eaten. Also known as "Turnip-rooted celery". Growing conditions are similar to celery but it is hardier with a wider climate range.
Sow approx. 5mm deep, Spring. Part sun, moist soil. Germination in approx. 14-21 days. Side shoots can be removed to encourage larger root growth. Matures approx. 120 days.
