Mammoth Dill is a larger and sparser variety Annual growing to approx. 90cm. Aromatic plant with slender stems and delicate aromatic foliage similar to fennel.
The leaves and seeds are used in cooking; the flowers attract a wide range of beneficial insects. The leaves are used fresh as a garnish, in salads, dips, and with fish and egg dishes. Seed is used as a spice in tea, bread, soups and preserves.
Sow deed approx. 2mm deep in Spring, Summer and Autumn. Full sun, moist well drained soil. Maturity approx. 60 days (seed 85 days).
