Eggplant Tsakoniki is a Perennial, although often grown as an annual in cooler climates. It is a popular Greek variety producing attractive long cylindrical fruit reaching 22cm in length. Delicious firm mild flavoured flesh. Commonly used in stews, sauces, baked, fried, stuffed and grilled. Eggplant is also known as "Aubergine". "Greek eggplant".
Sow 5mm deep, Spring or after frost, full sun, moist well drained soil.
