Chinese kale, or Chinese broccoli is similar to broccoli but can be harvested faster, is more tender and the leaves are part of the main crop as well. Cut the main stem which will look similar to broccoli and the plant will shoot several more.
Sowing time - Summer - Autumn - this variety is not frost tolerant but better in mild to cool climates. Prefers a sunny position, sow 6mm deep, emerge 6-10 days. Harvest in approx 8-10 weeks after sowing.
