The Spring Pompei Onion is a fairly small round white skinned bulb with mild flavour. It is tasty eaten raw or cooked; great in salads, stir-fries and on sandwiches. Good variety as a 'spring onion', with leaves that are ready in approx. 50 days. Suitable variety to grow in pots. The bulbs are perfect for pickling. Quick growing.
Sow 5mm deep, Autumn and Winter. Full sun, well drained soil. Approx. 90 days to full maturity.
