The Mammoth Melting Snow Pea is a climbing wilt-resistant variety that reaches a height of approx. 2 metres and produces an abundance of crunchy pods. The thick, stringless, 4"-5" flat edible pods encase creamy-white seeds.
Sow 3mm deep, late Summer and Autumn in warm climates, Spring in cold areas. Frost will damage flowers. Grow in full sun, sheltered area, moist well drained soil, prepared with compost. Water well once after sowing and then do not water again until seedlings appear. Peas dislike acidity, so add lime if necessary. Maturity approx. 65-70 days.
